Amazon.com is listing a “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band Anniversary Super Deluxe Edition (6 Disc)” – CD version, 26 May 2017. I’ve Got A Feeling that the official announcement will come later today.
If there is indeed 6 discs then here’s my prediction/hope:
Disc 1: Sgt Pepper album remixed + Strawberry Fields Forever , Penny Lane and Only A Northern Song remixed
Disc 2: Sgt Pepper album in mono + Strawberry Fields Forever , Penny Lane and Only A Northern Song in mono
Disc 3: Sgt Pepper album original stereo mix + Strawberry Fields Forever and Penny Lane original stereo mix (Only A Northern Song was not originally mixed in stereo)
Discs 4: Outtakes
Disc 5: More Outtakes or 5.1 mix
Disc 6: DVD featuring the promo clips for Strawberry Fields, Penny Lane and A Day In The Life , the 25th anniversary documentary and other relevant stuff.

If you listen to that clip closely, you have quite clearly John and Paul’s “twist it, shake it” comments. It’s so buried in the original mixes that I didn’t even know it existed until today.

Offline 2xCD Anniversary Edition (looks like both discs are stereo, presumably the album and a sessions disc):

Offline Currently i’m as very hopeful and intrigued as when there were reports of a song being found in the vaults before it turned out to be ‘Hey Bulldog ‘. If the announcement is as it seems to be turning out (4 cds, 2 dvds) then it will go up to ‘Anthology levels’. Apple might just do something right.
Hopefully we get the ‘Making of Documentary’ from 1992 included.
