@Ron Nasty, did you deliberately leave out ‘Baby’s In Black ‘ from the ‘Real Love ‘ E.P.? It’s unique due to the different intro by John.
‘Christmas Time (Is Here Again)’ was started in ’67 but all vocals were added in 1969 so it really should be in amongst the ’69 material, regardless of ‘Anthology 2 ‘.

Well in America it was released as an album. I consider Magical Mystery Tour an EP but I believe the American version was released when The Beatles catalogue was released on CD so all of the songs on Side B could be released.
Yes the American version was released in 1967 as an album. It was finally released in the UK as an import LP in the early 70’s. These 2 releases predate the CD release.

I think you mean You Know My Name (Look Up The Number).
I think the song fits better with the 1967 songs since although the vocals weren’t recorded until April 1969, everything else was recorded during the MMT sessions.

After much reflection, could a mod please fix the thread title? Scraping is definitely not the same thing as scrapping…
I’ll get back to you on other issues…

In America Magical Mystery Tour was released as an album. Side A included the songs from the EP and Side B included singles from 1967 so that is why Strawberry Fields Forever , Penny Lane , All You Need Is Love , Hello Goodbye and Baby, You’re a Rich Man are included.
That’s exactly the one I’ve got. It makes sense that this edition is considered an album here in the US, since it’s got eleven songs on it.
Reporter: Beethoven figures in one of your songs. What do you think of Beethoven?
Ringo Starr: He’s great. Especially his poetry.

Magical Mystery Tour is in the grey area between Capitol hackjob and album since although it was Capitol’s idea, The Beatles had to approve of it, which they did.
