Probably asked EMI for 3 tracks ready to go, got those and shoved them on with little care or attention. Yesterday and Today is a good album to listen to, one of the better US concoctions.

I am slowly replacing all my Beatles CD’s (for the 2nd time) and I just bought Revolver on Friday. So, I find it really difficult to pick my absolute fav song!! The one’s I love are: She Said, She Said; I’m Only Sleeping ; & Taxman

Pretty much a flawless album. Hard to choose a favorite, although of the lesser-known tracks, For No One is always one of my favorites, for various personal reasons.

‘For No One ‘ is a beautiful song, and very under-appreciated. I’ve always thought it to be one of the strongest tracks on Revolver .

For No One and Here, There & Everywhere are both beautiful songs. It really is an incredible album.
It’s awesome when it’s been a while since you’ve listened to an album & you sort of “rediscover” it all over again. I find that I really get a new appreciation for the songs. I was addicted to AHDN for a while…now it’s Revolver …what will it be next?!

Got to be honest and say im not a huge fan of Good Day Sunshine . Its bouncy but not that great on its own. The power and awesomeness of She Said, She Said and And Your Bird Can Sing really improve it when playing the album thru. The sign of a quality album.

Revolver is such a wonderful album!!!
My favourite songs on this particular album would have to be Here, There And Everywhere and Got To Get You Into My Life . For No One is incredible as well.
Doctor Robert gets stuck in my head really easily, and I quite like it.

Currently it is ‘For No One ‘ – but subject to change. I had almost forgotten this song then heard it quite a bit in recent weeks and recalled how much I actually like it.
I note that Rolling Stone has it at #40, so I guess I’m not the only one who things it’s not too bad.

I agree – I think it is one of their all time best songs.
I’m going back again and again to She Said She Said and really appreciating what a strong track that is.

My husband who got me to go with him to the “Out There” concert back in May has never really listened to the Beatles albums sequentially or thoroughly. Really, he mainly knew the songs on the “1” album. So, I stuck the Revolver cd into his hand this morning and told him to listen to it on the drive to and from work. He got out of the car this afternoon singing “Got To Get You Into My Life ” and declared it the best song on the album. He introduced me to the Beatles, and now I am getting him to go deeper into their music. Quite a beautiful thing.

This one’s in the “too hard” basket. It depends what mood I’m in and what I’ve just been listening to. I’m Only Sleeping , And Your Bird Can Sing are great Lennon contributions and Got To Get You Into My Life is brilliant from Macca. But Eleanor Rigby , Taxman , Here There And Everywhere , For No One , Doctor Robert and She Said She Said are all great too. I agree with the majority about Yellow Submarine though!

When I think of “Revolver “, a very specific sound comes to mind. I think of the heavy, acidic guitars, the heavy bass, the thundering drums, and the harmonized vocals. And with that sound, “And Your Bird Can Sing ” and “She Said She Said ” come to mind. I can’t pick between those two as to which is my favorite, but to me, those two songs seem to represent the overall sound of the album the best.

Don’t know if I have posted this before and too lazy to skim the last 4 pages of this thread to see if I did.
Reasons:
- Ringo’s drumming
- John’s Leslied ‘Dalai Lama’ voice
- Ringo’s drumming
- Backwards guitar solo (if I’m not mistaken, Paul’s guitar)
- Ringo’s drumming
I do go back and forth between which version I like best; Revolver or Anthology. Either track gets cranked up to the fullest when played.

For me it’s a three way tie between Tomorrow Never Knows , I’m Only Sleeping and For No One . Although it is an impossible choice as each track is golden (even Yellow Submarine )

I love Taxman , I’m Only Sleeping , Got To Get You Into My Life , And Your Bird Can Sing , She Said She Said , and Doctor Robert
Damn I don’t think I could ever pick one of these tracks to really stand out, ugh indecisiveness. Tomorrow Never Knows does though. Way ahead of its time!
Honorable mention (because its one of my favorites) : Rain !
B-side to Paperback Writer , but still somewhat a part of the “Revolver ” sessions, rrright?
