At an apparently legitimate website http://www.thebeatles.com, it says that although the EMI building at 20 Manchester Square, where the Please Please Me Album cover was taken, was torn down in 1995, they brought the iconic railing with them to the new EMI building in London. Anyone ever seen it?

Though I haven’t seen it, @jamessick, I can offer some more information. When EMI moved from Manchester Square to Brook Green in Hammersmith, they took that section of the railing with them and installed it in the first floor cafe at their offices. When they moved again in 2009 to Wrights Lane, off Kensington High St., and it was installed in the reception there.
Now, with EMI having disappeared via a string of mergers and takeovers, it is believed to be owned by Paul. He’s said to have had it at his Soho Square office for a while (I’m pretty sure I remember a journalist who was doing an interview with him there mentioning it), and it’s now thought to be at his Hog Hill Mill Studio.
