The only time I now open my Black Box is for Abbey Road and Let It Be . (Can care less for side two of Yellow Submarine .) The exclusive songs are on the Mono Masters so I’m good.
I bought two blue boxes and two white (One opened and one sealed for each. Sealed ones came from Amazon directly.
I really started listening to the Beatles Hard Core once I got my hands on the Second album as a gift by itself. I was blown away by the track list and still see it as one of the greatest albums of all time.
I bought two blue Boxes and now have my own listening order.
I bought 2 Magical Mystery Tour , 1 Sgt Pepper , and White Album outside the mono box from eBay to add to my custom box. I opened my sealed blue box to add a new copy of Magical Mystery in Mono as it IS a US album. Stupid how it wasn’t added to begin with, has the same damn Label art.
I removed Beatles Story from the “playing copy set” box, and added a mono Sgt Pepper , MMT, White Album , Abby Road, and a CDR in a white sleeve of my own Mono version of Hey Jude , removing Cant Buy Me Love, Should’ve known, Brown Shoe, and ballad. I replaced those with Inner Light, the mono mixes from Yellow submarine, From Me To You , Misery , and There’s A Place for obvious reasons. This would make the US collection complete.

What i would do for each box is this, assuming blue means US albums and white means The Beatles In Mono:
For the mono box, i’d add Abbey Road and Let It Be . Since mono is considered definitive, it only makes sense to add these so people can buy this set and not have to buy them separately.
For the US box, if you own the 2004 Capitol set, i’d swap out the discs of their first 8 Capitol albums (not counting The Beatles Story) for the ones in the Capitol box from 2004 since the US albums often contained unique mixes and alterations not present in the blue box. Then i’d make a CD-r for both Magical Mystery Tour and Hey Jude that has the albums in both mono and stereo (although The Ballad Of John And Yoko and Old Brown Shoe would be a fold down in the mono version). Then i’d make a CD-r consisting of Love Me Do (single version), Misery , There’s A Place , From Me To You , Sie Liebt Dich , A Hard Day’s Night , I’m Down , The Inner Light , Get Back (single version), Across The Universe (original version), Let It Be (single version), and You Know My Name (Look Up The Number).
