How else can they get you to buy the same album over again?
Remastered version!
Mono version! ('Cause you know it was originally meant to be heard monaurally, and they spent more time mixing it for mono, while the stereo mix was an afterthought…)
Bonus DVD version! ('Cause the only thing better than listening to the Beatles is listening to them while watching a buncha Frenchies perform a Las Vegas circus act)
Love…Naked version! (bonus track “A Beginning/The Long And Winding Road /Good Night ” added, Phil Spector overdubs removed)
and finally(?)
The Love You Make, a special limited edition 2-CD, 2-DVD boxed set version! (includes documentary The Making of “Love”, plus bonus documentary The Love You Make: The Making of “The Making of 'Love'”, a Documentary)

Thank you, I had fun thinking it up! The idea of a documentary on the making of a documentary is just the sort of Pythonesque ridiculousness that makes me giggle.
GEORGE: In fact, The Detroit Sound. JOHN: In fact, yes. GEORGE: In fact, yeah. Tamla-Motown artists are our favorites. The Miracles. JOHN: We like Marvin Gaye. GEORGE: The Impressions PAUL & GEORGE: Mary Wells. GEORGE: The Exciters. RINGO: Chuck Jackson. JOHN: To name but eighty.

Haha, take a lesson from my mistake and don't actually create such an account! (Unless you want Mithveaen to reach 2000 before you!)

Well, with these titles, someone is sure to buy it, get confused and then feel let down when they finally sit down to watch it…

I want to get to 2000 before Skye and Mith.
But really, is Love any good?
Yes. Yes it is.
I listened to the Girl and Fool on the Hill previews. The Girl one is awesome! It doesn't give you enough of Fool on the Hill, though…
But they are awesome!

I think Love is pretty good if you already know the entire catalog inside-out and want to hear the songs all over again in a new context. A chance to hear the sonic similarities between “Lady Madonna ” and “Hey Bulldog ” for instance. The “Within You Without You /Tomorrow Never Knows ” mashup is particularly clever! (And Youtube-able.)
One thing frustrates me: The songs on Love generally sound better (to my ears) than the remastered versions of the same songs on the 2009 remasters proper! Dunno if many people share this opinion, but I believe Joe agrees with me about that.
Paul: Yeah well… first of all, we’re bringing out a ‘Stamp Out Detroit’ campaign.
Von – the reason for that is they remixed the Love songs, whereas the 2009 remasters were just spruced up versions of the original mixes. So if a bassline or drum part was buried in the first releases, they couldn’t do anything about it.
Yellow Submarine Songtrack , Love and LIB … Naked show how amazing The Beatles’ back catalogue could be if they remixed it all. I don’t think they will anytime soon though.

The mix between Tomarrow Never Knows and Within You Without You is genius (I think this has been mentioned before…) My aunt and I were talking about seeing the show a while back and I really want to.

I haven't listened Love enough to grow on me, but I adore George's While My Guitar Gently Weeps . It's .. how to say it? Ethereal. Very spiritual. The strings made me cry.
Here comes the sun….. Scoobie-doobie……
Something in the way she moves…..attracts me like a cauliflower…
Bop. Bop, cat bop. Go, Johnny, Go.

While My Guitar made me cry. The strings! The words! George!
Tomorrow Never Knows /Within You Without You is really hard on the drums on Rock Band. Great mix though.
