Glad to hear that you like it, LHL, because I think I remember you been quite un-keen on listening to their really early stuff. Wish you’d done it sooner?
I don’t think that was me… unless I was referring to what Beatles I listened to back in high school, which was mostly from Sgt. Peppers onward.
"Please don't bring your banjo back, I know where it's been.. I wasn't hardly gone a day, when it became the scene.. Banjos! Banjos! All the time, I can't forget that tune.. and if I ever see another banjo, I'm going out and buy a big balloon!"

^ Oh, sorry, then. I thought we were talking about if there were any Beatles songs we hadn’t listened to, and you’d said you hadn’t listened to Live. Must have been someone else.
Moving along in our God given ways, safety is sat by the fire/Sanctuary from these feverish smiles, left with a mark on the door.

^^You may be half-right there… I didn’t hear Live right away. One thing is for sure though, I do love both of these albums!

Does it make me a bad fan that I haven’t bought these and don’t plan to? There’s nothing new on them for me (that’s the wonder of bootlegs) and I don’t want to shell the cash out just for the liner notes and pictures.

Makes you a sensible fan. Tho the I Feel Fine outtake on cd 2 of volume 2 is new. Not worth £15 so download from itunes and save yourself a fortune.

Or I’ll just keep my bootlegs and save that money . I recently got an upgraded set of all of their BBC sessions *and* interviews…13CDs worth! No offense, Beatles, but I’ve spent so much money on everything you put out, music wise, the past 25 years that this time, I’m sitting it out.

Yip, there are quite a few upgrades on both sets and there seemed to be an increase of bass on the first set as well as the second.
If you hold out for a while all of the upgrades and the outtake will be out on a new definitive BBC bootleg collection in a few months, if not sooner, for no money at all. Tho personally i do feel you should support the artist by going official wherever and whenever possible.

^I agree about supporting by buying official releases…hell, I bought the original Live At The BBC in 1994 But in the case of this new release, it’s not worth it, especially since I’ve already spent so much money on OTHER Beatles stuff this past year, not to mention over my entire life.
