Their version of To Know Her Is To Love Her is superb. It would have been a great track on Beatles For Sale .

I’ve been listening a lot to this recently. I always use it to play Freeze Dance with my kids
It has a lot of good ones . There’s a very nice version of Do You Want To Know A Secret , a pretty tight version of Ticket To Ride , a lovely version of Anna (John sings with a different energy from the LP version but sounds cool also)…
Right now my two favs are Memphis, Tennessee and Sweet Little Sixteen. I just love John’s voice on them.

The Things We Said Today is marvelous. Such a great song with an extremely clean performance. Their capabilities as a live band often go underrated, they were such pros.

‘The Honeymoon Song’ is gorgeous, I’d happily have had that on either ‘PPM ‘ or ‘WTB’. Definitely one of the Beatles covers which makes you think “why?!” yet are delighted they did (same goes for ‘I Just Don’t Understand’ which is stunning).
I was obsessed with ‘I Forgot To Remember To Forget’ when ‘LATBBC’ came out and I still love it. Far superior to Elvis. The guitar solo sounds so good.
I could go thru most of the BBC covers. By the time of ‘Pop Go The Beatles’ the band were in their element.
