Ahh…..
Then I’m guessing it’s Let it Be…..!!!
Funny I thought of Beatles For Sale when it was mentioned so I guess that’s my answer. But I can see his point. It’s one of the two.
Let it B has two of my 10s TLAWR and I Me Mine …..4 Sale only one…..No Reply ……But’s it’s more Beatley so….Hmmn?
…..I’m better at best….I’m worst at ‘Worst’.

Very true about it sounding more Beatlely! I have to give you that.

Two of us – great song, always pop up with John-Paul bromance even tho it might not be 😀
Dig A Pony – it’s a nice song, I always liked it
Across The Universe – a classic
I Me Mine – well, it’s their last song, and it kinda rocks, and it’s pretty good anyways
Dig It – some people hate this little snippets, I personally love them. LIKEEE A ROOOOOOWWWLLLLIIIING STOOUUOONEEE
Let it be – hah, classic
Maggie Mae – I like it, but understand why others don’t
I’ve Got A Feeling – awesome, AWESOME stuff, whish they did more of this type
One After 909 – classic oldie, it’s decent
The Long And Winding Road – perhaps the only snoozefest, but some people like it
For You Blue – awesome, upbeat blues, can’t forget that hilarious piano
Get back – the classicest of classic classics
So what, maybe two or three stinkers here?
But I’m not fair at all here, I love them all. In fact, their worst album for me is Yellow Submarine because Martin isn’t Beatles singing

MY notes:
Two of Us – great duet, all harmony like in the best days …
Dig A Pony – an ok song, good riff-playing, excellent lead guitar
Across The Universe – nice, but John never was content with it (rightfully so)
I Me Mine – good effort by George, but originally very (too) short, Phil Spector almost doubled the length …
Dig It – well, it´s close to an improvisation, as a documentry it´s ok and interesting, as a “song” it´s weak
Let It Be – among the best 4 or 5 Paul has written up to 1970
Maggie Mae – a good joke, a good laugh, not more (left out in … Naked – justified)
I’ve Got A Feeling – great rhythm, great, vocals … and it´s 90% Paul´s, with only the ending by John (Everybody´s got …)
One After 909 – great Rocker, don´t understand why they didn´t include it on With The Beatles (maybe instead of You Really Got a Hold …)
The Long And Winding Road – simply a great composition, first ruined by Phil Spector with the choir and orchestra, perfect on …Naked
For You Blue – very fine shuffle blues by George – always a joy to listen
Get Back – really a classic – and I love the guitar by John
Never understood why they left off Don´t let me Down (John´s strongest contribution in January ´69), at least a live version from the roof-top ……
My least loved album (excluding Yellow Submarine with it´s only 4 new songs which I don´t count fully, but counting Magical Mystery Tour in the 11-track-version) is Beatles For Sale … some fine songs, but also some weak fillers.

Yeah, Don’t Let Me Down would have been a strong addition to Let It Be , I agree.

Not as weak as ‘Yellow Submarine ‘ so no. Also superior to ‘Let It Be Naked’ – dont get me started on that.
Strangely the three tracks that ended up on the Blue Album (tho its the single mix of ‘Let It Be ‘) are not my favourites – tho i do prefer the Spector mix of said song. My life passes by happily without hearing ‘Across The Universe ‘. Some folk say a good song is a good song however its done. I say no, a good song can be made s**t if its reduced to the speed of boredom and overdubbed with a stupid out of place choir and insanely pointless orchestra.

Ya, that’s my answer too. They should have stuck with the plan to make YS an EP and skip that side 2 crap!
I don’t mind throwing on the Let It Be LP every once in awhile, but it sure isn’t one of my Fav.

Sure – but different from WHAT?
The single-version (B-side of Get Back ) ?
Actually it doesn´t matter because on the original Let It Be LP there was no Don´t Let Me Down at all …

‘Don’t Let Me Down ‘ on ‘Let It Be Naked’ is an edit of the two rooftop versions of the song whereas the single version is from the 28th January (DDSI #28.45 if anyone wants to find it on the bootlegs) + some vocal work from John and Paul overdubbed later.

That, or ‘worst Beatles album’ is an oxymoron. Let’s face it: their worst is generally a whole lot better than many acts’ best. The Fabs simply can’t be compared to anyone else!

Well….This is probably the second worst album even though it has some great, classic songs…. but the number one worst album is “Yellow Submarine “. It has “All You Need Is Love “, “Hey Bulldog ” and “Yellow Submarine “ but most of it is songs by George Martin for the movie.
