Where can I find a comprehensive list breaking down what takes are what tracks and (more so) what days the spoken passages are? It’d be great if it included the Glyn Johns versions. I’m sure it’s somewhere or in some book, but I’ve yet to come across it.
FWIW, those connecting snippets are one of the reasons I enjoy the LP. It’s as carefully sequenced as The White Album and Abbey Road , but in its own way. (Although I do think the off-mic laughter during John’s “I Dig a Pygmy” rant is creepy. Used to scare me a child. Like: “That’s not The Beatles. That’s a bunch of creepy old men!”)

Offline I would like to ask a question to any fellow die-hard. I’m piecing together my own Get Back from the A/B Road (I also have many of the source discs from other sets). I’m looking for a piece of dialogue where Paul is mentioning something I forget now and John’s retort is something like ” yes we’ll need some discipline, a shave and f…..g haircut, live man”. I may have heard it originally on one of the Songs from the Past discs. Anyone who knows it would be a big help. I’ve found much else but this I’ve searched through the whole set with no luck. Thank you.
P.S. It’s people like Giles that bring back the need for bootlegging.
