I think they should release the catalogue in both mono, stereo, and multiple forms of surround sound with bonus tracks instead of Past Masters , here’s how it goes:

I think it would be cool to have a reissue campaign that is similar to Paul’s Archive campaign, except done well. However knowing Apple, it would probably end up being done even worse. However one can always dream.

Offline Something like how the kinks catalogue has been done recently would be ideal, with the mono mixes included (the fact that these aren’t widely available is scandalous) and singles/bsides and extras all added on.
2 discs would cover most of them, I mean the orginal albums themselves aren’t more than 30 mins are they ? Charging full price for them is pretty cheeky. The most recent reissues were ok but I wasn’t a fan of the packaging particularly.

Offline All of their canon albums exceed 30 minutes in length, with A Hard Day’s Night (their shortest) 30:10 and The BEATLES (AKA the White Album , their longest) 93:35.
However, i do agree about including both the mono and stereo mixes on the same disc, which they did for the US albums and can be done on all discs except The BEATLES.
