I just finished watching the blu-ray of the Help movie last night, and must say I was really impressed with the dts 5.1 master audio track – there was just an amazing surge of energy every time one of the songs kicked in. The picture was also nicely restored.
I’m doubly impressed by the sound considering the usual ‘this was an age when music was primarily recorded and mixed for mono’ spiel in all of the cd remix booklets. Did they have different audio elements for the film remix?; if so, it can’t just have come off the filmstrip.
Anyway, just wondering what others think of the audio on the blu-ray and whether you would like to hear something similar done with some of their albums?
