My friend Clayton knew one of the people represented in the Sgt. Pepper cover.

Was it Karl Marx? Well then your friend would be very old…

Haha, no. I'll have to ask Clayton later.

Most artistic: “Sgt. Pepper

Coolest: “Revolver .”

Easiest to autograph: “The Beatles”

I think the best album cover would be Let It Be .  I love the color backrounds and everyone looks happy. Plus! George has a big smile on his facea-hard-days-night-george-8

What about Ringo? He just looks depressed to me. Then I say, “Oh no! Ringo, would it KILL you to smile? 🙁 ”

Well, I don't say, “Colon starting parenthesis.” That would sound weird.

What's weird is that it isn't my favorite album cover, but I have a poster of it in my room. Same with Abbey Road (of course!)

The Revolver poster kind of creeps me out at night….I swear, I saw the George-drawing blink!a-hard-days-night-paul-2

Really? It wasn't just boring into your skull with enormous eyes?

For me it would be Abbey Road .  Mostly due to the unique album cover that I got from my oldest Brother who was stationed in South Korea in 1970 and he sent me this………Image Enlarger

My favorite is definitely Rubber Soul . The perspective and colors always make me do more than just glance when I see the cover.

There's no doubt in my mind that he was the main influence behind Tomorrow Never Knows . His extensive use of tape loops must have caught the attention of John and Paul. He was also on the Sgt. Pepper cover, if I remember correctly.

Favorite album covers are

#2 – Rubber Soul – doesn't even have the Beatles name on the front – all they needed was the four face and you know who it was – this was pretty ground breaking cover art in it's day.

#1 – they take it one step further – no band name, no album name – just the picture. A great thing about the Beatles (to me) is that they knew they were the Beatles and all it meant and they played it to the hilt.

This is a hard question. All of them are unique in their own way, BUT, I have to say, for sheer originality and differentness (not sure if that's even a word)…

The Beatles (a.k.a The White Album )
