I would say the US “Hey Jude ” cover. However, as far as the “official” releases go, i would say the White Album .
It is truly amazing in it’s simplicity.

Mhh yeah.. I agree with you. I love Abbey Road , Beatles For Sale , Revolver and the cliche in this list, Sgt. Pepper .I also like Please Please Me . Actually I can’t think of a cover I don’t like. I even love the Red and Blue albums covers. But if I have to choose one, I’d go for Abbey Road . It’s brilliant. (one day Mithveaen one day you’ll kiss that ground…)
Joe can say if I’m wrong but I think in those days, the covers of albums were just pictures of the singer or the band and that’s it. The Beatles changed that. I mean, they were so aware of that, look at their second album!! A fantastic fantastic cover. They wanted their way. But The Beatles, a very upbeat band.. with a black background and looking all gloomy??? I have seen a smiling version of it because the big bosses didn’t want a depressing cover.
I must say I also love the boldness of the White Album . Their name was enough to sell a frigging album. Of course that’s in a time when the cover of an album meant something. Now with small CDs.. covers are like.. I dunno.. there’s no chance to having details on it like in Sgt. Pepper or Abbey Road .

I am not sure which one I like because I listen to them on my iPod and the sreen is messed up to the point I can only see the left hand third of the album. In which case, Revolver has a lovely left hand third of an album.
Revolver has a really great album cover, very creative.
But not one of my favorites, I think the cover is kind of strange-looking.

That’s what makes it great!
What’s weird is that it isn’t my favorite album cover, but I have a poster of it in my room. Same with Abbey Road (of course!)
The Revolver poster kind of creeps me out at night….I swear, I saw the George-drawing blink!

I think the best one is Rubber Soul .
I'd like to say "thank you" on behalf of the group and ourselves and I hope we passed the audition.

I think I’ll go with Revolver . I’d love to see a larger version of Voorman’s update:
But it looks like he still had trouble with George.

Odd how McCartney is the only one lying down. Is he dead?

The US ‘Hey Jude ‘ album cover for sure. Adore it.
Revolver comes second I think, then again, Beatles For Sale is nice too. Then of course Sgt. Pepper , and the White Album … I always wondered what the album cover would be like if they went with A Doll’s House…

Sgt. Pepper ‘s: I’ve lived with this cover all my life (I was a fetus when it was released to the world) and so it’s hard for me to appreciate just how elaborate and unprecedented it was at the time. I’ve had to have that explained to me in every single piece I’ve read about the album proper. As it is, I love the whimsy and the concept and the little details, but the execution could’ve been a little cleaner.
White Album : This one is brilliant in concept, especially coming after Sgt. Pepper , in the same way that “Good Night ” is so awesome because it follows “Revolution #9″. But a major part of the brilliance wais in the individually-numbered originals, which didn’t carry over to the reissues.
Revolver : Nearly perfect – the only thing that annoys me about this cover is, inexplicably, that pound sign above the title.
Rubber Soul : This one’s my favourite, and I’m too lazy to try and explain why; plus, it’s time to go home from work!
Paul: Yeah well… first of all, we’re bringing out a ‘Stamp Out Detroit’ campaign.
