Sgt. Pepper ‘s Lonely Hearts Club Band because it’s also a concept album where all of the songs sound different.

I’d say Rubber Soul because I feel it’s the bridge between their earlier poppy sound and what would become the groundwork for the later albums, although I think that could be said of HELP! too.
I agree. Rubber Soul would be my choice too.

I would go with Abbey Road . It’s the safest choice to go with. It’s also the album of theirs I have borrowed out to people the most.

I think it has to be Rubber Soul …. there are so many ‘hits’ on there, even though there were no singles taken from it! It is a very accessible album, more so probably than Revolver , which is my favourite album?
Help or A Hard Days Night would be perfect to show someone the earlier style.

Abbey Road is a masterpiece but I would prefer giving people something more in the middle of their career rather than the end.

I think age plays a key role today.
The early albums (Please Please – Help !) are pretty much outdated. They sound extraordinary, still, yes, but like 50s music they don’t play a large role in kid’s lives today. (Anyone about 20 and younger would only recognize “Great Ball of Fire” and “Elvis”. — I know, a bit broad!
This is why I suggest Sgt. Pepper or Revolver to start. Revolver is light enough and easier to listen to because it is much more stable and has a similarity between its songs- a uniformity. Pepper is great, but you will go from “Getting Better ” to “She’s Leaving Home ” and “Reprise” which May be a bit advanced for someone who doesn’t even know the Beatles.
Later albums are also advanced, but hey, it takes about 1 song and 1 listen to fall in love, so anything is possible.

I would say Help or Rubber Soul – accessible but something different is starting to happen with the song writing and production.
Having said that, the first album I heard and fell in love with was Sgt Pepper . As a child I found the characters and sound effects fascinating.

As an introduction, I personally would choose A Hard Day’s Night . Fabulous mid-early material that is all original.
Then they can watch one on the greatest movies of all time!
Fantastic Highlights:
(All of them really, LOL)
Such great melodic music to pull you in. Probably my 3rd favorite Beatles album after Abbey Road and Rubber Soul .
Of course Red/Blue would be a no brainer if that fills the OP’s criteria.
