I posted this is in the Make A Playlist topic in the All Together now section but I will post it here as well. I made a playlist after I noticed that the Beatles have quite a few songs with animals in the title so I compiled them all together and it may not have the best songs but it is certainly an interesting listen. I called it The Beatles Wildlife Adventure. I think I need to work on the order of the tracklist but here it is:
1. Leave My Kitten Alone (Anthology 1)
2. Blackbird (The White Album)
3. Hey Bulldog (Yellow Submarine)
4. Piggies (The White Album)
5. I Am The Walrus (Magical Mystery Tour)
6. Octopus’s Garden (Abbey Road)
7. Everybody’s Got Something To Hide Except For Me and my Monkey (The White Album)
8. And Your Bird Can Sing (Revolver)
9. Rocky Raccoon (The White Album)
10. Too Much Monkey Business (Live At The BBC)
11. Three Cool Cats (Anthology 1)
12. Dig A Pony (Let It Be…Naked)
13. Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown) (Rubber Soul)
14. Free As A Bird (Anthology 1)

Although it never specifically mentions an animal, I think Martha My Dear may be a good addition because its the best ever expression of the love between humans and animals.

The thought did cross my mind but I left it off because there is no mention of an animal in the title but it would be a nice addition and it would be good to have another Paul song because this playlist is very John heavy which isn’t a bad thing but just for more balance.
And in the end the lunch you take is equal to the lunch you bake.

I think Blackbord would work better after EGSTHEMAMM.
Interesting how many animal songs there are…

I will give it a listen and see how it goes. I might have a play around with the playlist and see what I can come up with though.
I feel like Free As A Bird should either open or close it though because I think it would be out of place in the middle of original Beatles songs.

It would make a better opener than closer as it does open the entire anthology series.
By the way, the reasonyou see critiques from me is because I absolutely love this playlist.

I’ve made my own versions of Rubber Soul , With The Beatles , Sgt Pepper , The White Album and Abbey Road . I’ve got my Rubber Soul one on a CD.
I've been up on the mountain, and I've seen his wondrous grace,
I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

Do you mean remixes of the songs, or removing songs you dislike?

I listened to it again this morning and I was thinking of having it as an opener.
I don’t mind any feedback in regards to this playlist. I like it as well and it is easy to put together because I don’t have to choose the songs but making the perfect tracklist is hard to arrange.

Can you please share your versions of these albums? I’m curious to see what changes you have made to each album.

@The Hole Got Fixed Nah I don’t remix them, I just change the track listing and possibly add/remove tracks.
@Elementary Penguin I’ll get back to you shortly

Turns out I lost my With The Beatles and White Album versions with my old laptop. Here are my alternate track listings.
A couple things you may notice –
A) They’re short. I don’t actually have a problem with shorter albums – I’d rather have a shorter, more concise album that only contains good songs than a longer, bloated one. For example, I don’t think there’s a bad song on my Abbey Road version, and while there isn’t on the original either, the songs I omitted demonstrated the worse qualities of the album i.e self indulgence and a tendency to be goofy.
B) Chronological errors. I included AYNIL and HG on SPLHCB even though they were released after it, but who cares, because they were still written in the same year and I don’t think John and Paul went through any huge changes that meant they couldn’t possibly have written those two songs beforehand.

Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown)
I’m Looking Through You

They sound really good. I’d listen to them in a heartbeat.
But why do you need Michelle twice, @QuarryMan? It’s not that great of a song!

I know they’re shorter, but you should see somebody if your heartbeats are taking that long
Ah. I must have mixed it up with Girl. Swap Girl for the second Michelle .

BISH WAT U TAKKIN ABOUT?????
I KNOW A LOT OF HUMANS HAVE A NASTY SUPERIORITY COMPLEX THAT CONTRIBUTES TO THIS MISCONCEPTION, BUT…….
HUMAN BEINGS ARE ANIMALS
legit p much every single one of their songs is about an animal, so you could add like every other one of their songs to that list…….

We’re not talking about anatomically and scientifically down to the last detail. We’re just making a cool playlist by a great band, with a theme. Besides, which Beatles specifically mentions ‘human’ or ‘homo sapien’ in the title?

well just look at this list of words that are synonymous with human
this adds a lot of other songs, such as:
“Being For The Benefit of Mr. Kite”
“Something“
“Got To Get You Into My Life“
“Baby, It’s You”
“Every Little Thing“
“In My Life“
“I Wanna Be Your Man“
“Things We Said Today”
“I Don’t Want To Spoil The Party“
“Run For Your Life“
“Baby You’re A Rich Man“
…

I think you might be overthinking this playlist and may have over-reacted with your first post.
To be fair the songs in my playlist aren’t really about animals either but mention an animal in the title such as Birds, Monkey’s, Bulldogs, etc.
If you want to make a playlist that are about humans as well then be my guest. I would like to see it.
