did not know where to put this……but if you have the money and have been wanting the box of vision storage/coffe table book they are having a sale at the website boxofvision.com…the john lennon and beatles sets are 40% off and free s/h in the usa.
nice , the books alone seem to be worth that.
oh and new dylan one too if interested.
think it's olnly available this weekend though, so check it out…nice to have the lp contents actual 33 1/3 size again. sweet.

Offline I got the beatles box of vision when it was half price from a sony music related discount website, I had to make sure it was a secure site because it seemed too good to be true. Was kind of thinking was it worth it but it certainly was. The box itself is beautifully made, top quality, but the highlight is the replica artwork book which has been loving printed. You get the american and uk albums complete, not just the covers but inserts, gatefold sleeves, which all nearly full size and they look stunning.
Not sure if i want the Lennon one tho. I wouldnt spend as much time idolising the content.

Offline For the Beatles one its somewhere you can keep all your beatles cd's and booklets in one place in a specially designed unique storage device. Its like a very fancy folder with very easy access to get them in and out (tho if you play music thru your computer or ipod then you never need take them out). But there are also 2 books, 1 hardback. 1 is a complete discography of the UK and US catalogue, not just a list, and the hardback book is a laserprinted very very high quality collection of all the uk and us sleeves including the gatefolds, Pepper cut outs, MMT film booklet, and Anthology, Love and Live At The BBC album notes. The first time its ever been done.
And its all officially approved and licensed by Apple.
It is a stunning creation.
I think the John 1 is very similar but you also get two blank dvds and cds with lennon artwork already on for anything you burn, for instance the exclusive demos in the Signature box.

If you look at the pictures I put on my profile page I left mine in the box and it sits on a book case. I even bought a counterfeit Stereo box to put CDs in it.
