She just doesn't like that song. It's as simple as that. Some people have different opinions than yourself.

Believe me, she gets that. She was being funny. Calm down.

Yeah I got that you were joking (and BTW I have never had a dog, only gerbils) and it made me laugh! I guess I don’t like it because it’s to “folky” for me. I’m just not a country/Bob Dylan sounding/folk song fan. And I’m probably gonna get yelled at for this but I can’t stand Bob Dylan. To me, he ruined the Beatles. He was the reason that John started to do that “rhaspy” voice thing (which I don’t like) and he introduced them to drugs. And if you have read my signature you know what I mean (hehe she was just 17) but anyway, the song is just too “Dylan” for me. But I do have to say Dizzy Miss Lizzy is basically a tie for my least favourite song on Help !. Sorry if I dissapoint you with my dislike of that song/Bob Dylan. Haha that’s why I put the warning label at the top of my post.

WARNING! You probably won't aggres with my choises here, because I have weird tastes in music (read my signature for more info) so don't judge me. And trust me NO Beatles song is bad. These are just ones I dislike.

F: I Saw Her Standing There
LF: A Taste Of Honey

With The Beatles
F: You can't make me pick! This is probably my favorite album.
LF: None

A Hard Day's Night
F: A Hard Days Night, Can't Buy Me Love, Tell Me Why
LF: If I Fell

Beatles For Sale
F: I'm A Loser
LF: Baby's in Black

Help !
F: Yesterday . This is my most favorite song. Ever. I have apromixated that if you combine all the times I have listened to Yesterday , it equals about 20 hours. BEST 20 HOURS OF MY LIFE!!!!
LF: You've Got To Hide Your Love Away

Rubber Soul
F: Michelle
LF: If I Needed Someone

Revolver
F: Eleanor Rigby , I'm Only Sleeping (that song is the story of my life. My average time to sleep in till on weekends is 2pm. My record is till 7pm. And it's not like I stay up till 2 in the morning. I get to bed at around 11pm)
LF: Love You To

Sgt. Pepper 's Lonely Hearts Club Band
F: Sgt Pepper /Little Help From My Friends (it has to be the medly one)
LF: Within You Without You

Magical Mystery Tour
F: Penny Lane and Your Mother Should Know
LF: Blue Jay Way

The White Album
F: Back In The USSR
LF: Revolution 9

Yellow Submarine
F: All together Now
LF: Only A Northern Song

Let It Be
F: Let It Be
LF: Dig It

Abbey Road
F: Here Comes The Sun
LF: Come Together (I'm gonna get a lot of crap for this but to me its just a boring song)

Someone really doesn't like George's songs. Damn. “You've Got To Hide Your Love Away” and “Come Together “! Someone has a problem with John's best songs. Really obscure picks.

To each is own, but really? Damn.

Well we all shine on like the moon, the stars, and the sun.

I know that Come Together has been criticised on the basis that whilst John's vocal and Ringo's drumming at the end are good moments, the bands playing is too lackadaisical overall.

Thanks, Sun king. Geez, do I need to make an addition to my signature that says something like “half of what I say is meaningless, I'm only joking”?

I'm not the biggest fan of Dylan, either. (his voice kills it for me every time) I don't think he “ruined” the Beatles, though. If his influence was the reason they started writing more introspective, meaningful songs, then I'm thankful for it.

I've never had any animals because I'm allergic — gerbils sound interesting, though. Are they a common pet?

*off topic* Gerbils are pretty common pets. Not as common as hamsters, but they are overall more gentil and nicer than hamsters. They are less smelly, so you don’t have to clean their cage as offen. I have had 3 gerbils and they are great! They don’t shed allot of hair, so you might be able to have one. I strongly recommend them!

Maybe. So far, the only animals that haven't triggered a reaction are mice, hamsters, and a guinea pig. Maybe when I get my own place, I'll get one as a pet. 😀

So why not blame the guy who introduced Bob Dylan to drugs? Or the guy or introduced THAT guy to drugs?? Or the Beatles themselves for being too spineless to resist the evil Bob Dylan when he offered them a joint? And while you're at it, don't forget to blame the Beatles for everybody who may have began taking drugs in following their example.

(Sorry to attack you like this, but I just found that a really silly statement, irregardless of your opinions of Dylan's music, or the Beatles' “weird” stuff. Besides, they were introduced to d*r*u*g*s years before meeting Dylan – read Joe's excellent feature elsewhere on the site.)

Paul: Yeah well… first of all, we’re bringing out a ‘Stamp Out Detroit’ campaign.

No it’s ok. I totally expected someone to yell at me about that! And I do understand how the Beatles did drugs before Bob Dylan. It may seem silly to you but it makes sence to me because I really don’t enjoy bob Dylan, and I HATE drugs. They just scare me. So I guess I tried to blame it on one person to let out my anger on drugs. I’m weird like that.

Please Please Me :
best – I Saw Her Standing There
worst – PS I Love You (ugh)

With The Beatles :
best – Roll Over Beethoven / All I've got to do
worst – I Wanna Be Your Man

Hard Day's Night:
best – If I Fell
worst – When I get home

For Sale:
best – Baby's in black
worst –  Rock And Roll Music / I'll follow the sun

Help :
best – Ticket To Ride
worst – Tell Me What You See

Rubber Soul :
best – so hard to choose, this album is fantastic. If I have to go with one, I'll pick Think For Yourself .
worst – If I Needed Someone (still, not a bad song)
(I just noticed I picked the two Harrisongs as best and worst. Strange.)

Revolver :
best – (Ten times harder than on Rubber Soul …) For No One .
worst – Good Day Sunshine

Sgt. Pepper 's:
best – Good morning
worst – Getting Better

Magical Mystery Tour :
best – I Am The Walrus
worst – Fool on the hill

White Album :
best on disc one – Back In The USSR
worst on disc one – Martha My Dear
best on disc two – Helter Skelter
worst on disc two – Mother Nature's Son (it would be Revolution 9 , if you let it count as a song, which I don't)

Let It Be :
best – One After 909
worst – Across The Universe (it would be a wonderful song if a) it had been recorded properly and b) without the Spector production)

Abbey Road :
best – Oh darling
worst – Carry That Weight

Hmm. Well, I agree with most of those, except I'm wondering about “Carry That Weight .” Were you judging it by itself, or by its placement in the medley? I'll agree that it isn't a very strong song on its own, but neither were any of the other AR medley songs. (Except maybe “You Never Give Me Your Money .) I think one has to take the fact that none of the songs in the medley were intended to stand on their own as songs into consideration.

Yeah, I get your point. Well, I was judging the medley songs individually, because actually, I like all of the medley songs, each one on its own, and I also like them bundled together in the medley, I just don't like Carry That Weight . In my opinion it could have been left out; I don't like it as a part of the medley.

Oh go on then I'll do a list. It won't be easy though a-hard-days-night-ringo-13

Please Please Me

Favourite: I Saw Her Standing There . Awesome. It's just awesome

Least Favourite: P.S. I Love You. Too Slow.

With The Beatles

Favourite: I Wanna Be Your Man . Mainly because it's Ringo, and who doesn't like a Ringo song?

Least Favourite: Not A Second Time . Just is a bit bland.

A Hard Days Night

Favourite: You Can't Do That. Mainly because of John's guitar solo and his bitterness

Least Favourite: And I Love Her . Just boring and slow again. Nice lyrics though

Beatles For Sale

Favourite: I'm A Loser. I love John's vocals on this, especially the way he says clown, frown etc.

Least Favourite: Mr. Moonlight. I think someone said above, starts with a bang but doesn't go anywhere.

Help !

Favourite: Help ! (Stereo version)

Least Favourite: You're Going To Lose That Girl. Basically anything with Ringo on something different than his drums I don't like

Rubber Soul

Favourite: Think For Yourself . The fuzz bass is awesome

Least Favourite: If I Needed Someone . No offense to George, but it's just a very tame song.

Revolver

Favourite: Taxman . Well it is my name

Least Favourite: Here There And Everywhere . Nice vocals but doesn't really go anywhere.

Sgt. Pepper 's Lonely Hearts Club Band

Favourite: (Changes every day) Today it is Good Morning Good Morning . Listen to Ringo's drumming. It's amazing

Least Favourite: Don't have one. It's like asking a parent of two kids to pick their favourite.

Magical Mystery Tour (EP)

Favourite: I Am The Walrus . John' at his creative peak in 1967

Least Favourite: The Fool On The Hill . Didn't really enjoy the song. (But I did enjoy Paul's skipping in the movie)

Magical Mystery Tour (LP)

Favourite: Strawberry Field Forever. Everything about this song is perfect

Least Favourite: Baby You're A Rich Man.

White Album Disc 1

Favourite: Happiness Is A Warm Gun . I love the different stages the song goes through

Least Favourite: Wild Honey Pie . Bleh. Can't believe this made it onto the album.

White Album Disc 2

Favourite: Birthday . Awesome rock song.

Least Favourite: Revolution 9 . What were they thinking?

Let it Be

Favourite: Currently Dig A Pony

Least Favourite: Dig it. Just a snippet of a song really

Abbey Road

Favourite: Polythene Pam /She Came In Through The Bathroom Window . I don't care if they are two different songs, they count as one in my book.

Least Favourite: Because . Annoying Vocals. Plus Yoko had some involvement in the inspiration for this track so it must be bad.

This took half an hour to write paul-mccartney.

I have actually been lurking here for almost a year, and I made an account in February but never posted. No idea why I didn't.

Also, I had no idea that there was a Mrs. Taxman here before me a-hard-days-night-ringo-6 and we are not married in any way
