Beatles Examiner reports that the album 1 is going to be released using the 2009 remasters in early September and will also be added to the Beatles collection available to download on itunes. There will be no bonus tracks.
So only Yellow Submarine Songtrack and Live At The BBC remain unavailable of the cds out there. Hopefully they will be be soon as im not that bothered with 1 as i already have them and can make this up myself.

Wow… That sucks

Seems kind of silly, if you ask me. They already have the individual tracks available in iTunes, so even someone who does' t own the complete remasters already just go and find them. It would have been a bit more interesting if they had bonus material, but as you say, they do not.

I think Apple are slowly getting all the available official albums that you would find in the high street stores onto itunes so 1 was always going to happen. Yes all the songs are available but there isnt a single disc Beatles greatest hits, some folks wouldnt buy the red or blue albums and wont know where to start with the albums so its a place to start for them. The fans who already have the songs wont be that bothered but it is a natural step for Apple to take and it will sell.
Live At The BBC would probably excite me more if its remastered with bonus tracks as the bbc recordings are my favourite recordings the beatles did away from Abbey Road .
[And when Yellow Submarine Soundtrack is issued they could throw in the complete, unedited Its All Too Much. And with Let It Be … Naked they could throw in the movie which has been way too long unavailable. But theres more chance they will give me complete access to the vaults with the means to record it all and take copies home than that movie being released in the near future.]

1 is now available to pre-order at an introductory offer price of $9.99 or £8.99 and is scheduled for release on 5th September.
Included on itunes to watch but not to buy are promo videos for Something , We Can Work It Out , All You Need Is Love and 1 Highlights (a 2 1/2 minute promo for the album being available on itunes).
Why the promos have not been officially released is another Apple mystery. They obviously have remastered them over the years and are in really good quality. Could even have released them with this reissue to get the fans excited, sales to increase, and the album greater promotion. Instead there is another Beatles project that remains in the vault.

This is one of my favorite albums. I just don't know how much better it would sound remastered. Of course if it was remastered, I'm sure someone would buy it.

You're right. The best available masters were prepared for release. The only added advantage would be a marginal increase in quality from technology's increase (and therefore better remastering processes). Apple isn't doing this remaster any-time soon – a straight copy of the 1994 release will be dangled on iTunes in November. My advice for you all? Buy the CD. Apple will be dangling this on iTunes from now till they run out of stuff. Buy the CD's – it'll save you lots of hassles. Because , if something happens to your computer – it's gone. Not if you have CD's.

Live At The BBC would undergo the same remastering as the Anthology's which were remastered as stipulated by iTunes on the Anthology page (Digital Remaster 2011) and by The Beatles website. If this wasnt the case they would/could get done for false information/advertising, you cant legally sell something under false pretenses. The difference may be minimal but its still been done.
I have Live At The BBC on cd, i bought it when it came out (i also have it on cassette as with most beatles albums bar 3). I also have the purple chick 11 disc 2004 upgrade of every possible performance and speech. And yet i am such a sucker for the BBC recordings i would still by it remastered with bonus tracks. You can separate a fool and his money and apple do a fine job doing so.
I didnt buy the anthology.

1 is #1 on the US itunes album chart, as well as in Mexico, China, Japan, Sweden, Spain, Switerland, Greece, New Zealand and the Netherlands. And beating Katy Perry. Hurray!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think its time to party, need balloons, mini sauage rolls, juice, and some sandwiches cut into triangles.

Was reading the wiki entry for 1 and the stats are at the point of insanity. I remember reading about 1 being the biggest selling album in the US and worldwide between 2000 – 2009 when it was announced but to read of its achievements all together is jawdropping – especially when you think that the songs had been around for 30 years at least (not that many people who bought them then were still around in 2000).
Its sold 31 million copies worldwide, 1 million fewer than Pepper. (i have no idea what this icon is for.)

Oh, the half apple ? I think Joe made that because, when reviewing Beatles (and Beatle-related) movies, we’d rate them out of 5 apples. I think he made it to make our lives easier. Or just cause he felt like it.

I’ve got all beatles albums remastered (the usb stick), Yellow Submarine Songtrack , Anthology 1 ,2,3 and let it be… Naked. I haven’t got Live At The BBC and I don’t want it because I don’t like the early beatles songs (albums 1-4 parts of 5, Anthology 1 ) especially not the rock’n’roll songs. I would prefer the songtrack to real beatles collectors, but I would prefer naked and anthology to every beatles fan (and naked also to not beatles fans anthology possibly too). 1 is not a bad album, but I think it’s better to just buy the Blue Album , I wouldn’t prefer the first half of songs on 1 to anyone (except help, Ticket To Ride and Eleanor Rigby )
