Adidas launches Hey Jude ad campaign for Euro 2024

Adidas have launched an advertising campaign soundtracked by The Beatles’ 1968 song ‘Hey Jude’, to coincide with the 2024 UEFA European Football Championship.

The performance features Paul McCartney singing without backing, with crowds joining in the finale.

Focusing on England midfielder Jude Bellingham, who also plays for Real Madrid, the ad also features appearances from David Beckham, Ian Wright, Frank Lampard, Stormzy, and Laura Woods. It was directed by Greg Hackett for the Johannes Leonardo advertising agency.

This is the journey of a nation’s hope – brought about by a new generation of players who are looking to find success in Germany this summer.

Jude Bellingham stars as an example, embracing the support of his fans and overcoming the pressures of past disappointments.

The film also features familiar faces, with David Beckham and Frank Lampard reflecting on their own tournament history. Stormzy, Laura Woods and Ian Wright can also be seen joining fans in embracing the joy of a major tournament summer.
