Paul McCartney performed at Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, on 17 July 2016.

It was the 26th show of the One On One Tour, which lasted for 77 dates between April 2016 and December 2017. This concert was seen by 36,142 fans.

During the show McCartney was joined onstage by The Grateful Dead guitarist Bob Weir for ‘Hi, Hi, Hi’ and ‘Helter Skelter’.

The New England Patriots tight end Rob ‘Gronk’ Gronkowski also danced onstage during ‘Helter Skelter’.

McCartney’s band was Paul ‘Wix’ Wickens (vocals, keyboards, guitar, percussion, harmonica), Brian Ray (vocals, guitar, bass), Rusty Anderson (vocals, guitar), and Abe Laboriel Jr (vocals, drums).

McCartney had previously performed at Fenway Park on 5 and 6 August 2009 during the Summer Live ’09 Tour, and 9 July 2013 for the Out There Tour. He returned on 7 and 8 June 2022 during the Got Back Tour.
