Paul McCartney live: O2 Arena, London

Paul McCartney performed at the O2 Arena in London, England, on 24 May 2015.

It was the 72nd show of the Out There Tour, which lasted for 91 dates between May 2013 and October 2015, and the second of two consecutive nights at the O2.

As on the previous night, McCartney performed the 1980 song ‘Temporary Secretary’, on this occasion for the second-ever time.

Unlike the previous night’s show, which saw Dave Grohl performing during ‘I Saw Her Standing There’, there were no guest performers. However, McCartney did play the 1971 song ‘Ram On’, its first live outing since 2013.

McCartney’s band was Paul ‘Wix’ Wickens (vocals, keyboards, guitar, percussion, harmonica), Brian Ray (vocals, guitar, bass), Rusty Anderson (vocals, guitar), and Abe Laboriel Jr (vocals, drums).

McCartney previously performed at the O2 Arena on 22 December 2009 for the Good Evening Europe Tour, and 5 December 2011 for the On The Run Tour. He returned on 16 December 2018 for the Freshen Up Tour, and 18 and 19 December 2024 for the Got Back Tour.
