It was the final show of the 12th All-Starr Band’s tour of North America, which lasted for 46 dates between June and October 2014.

Starr had previously performed at the Ruth Eckerd Hall on 18 May 1997, 7 July 2006, 2 July 2008, 13 July 2010 and 1 July 2012. He returned there on 10 November 2017 and 16 September 2022.
