Paul McCartney performed at Candlestick Park in San Francisco, USA, on 14 August 2014.
It was the 50th show of the Out There Tour, which lasted for 91 dates between May 2013 and October 2015. This concert was seen by 53,477 fans.
The historic show was the final scheduled event at the Bayview Heights stadium. Plans for the 54-year-old venue to be rebuilt were abandoned after the San Francisco 49ers announced a move to Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. The Stick will be demolished to make way for a housing, retail and entertainment complex.

Candlestick Park was also where The Beatles played their final scheduled concert 48 years before, on 29 August 1966. On that night the group closed their set with ‘Long Tall Sally’, which McCartney also performed at the final Candlestick Park show.
McCartney also performed ‘San Francisco Bay Blues’, the American folk song he previously released on his 1991 album Unplugged (The Official Bootleg).
