It was the fourth show of the 12th All-Starr Band’s tour of North America, which lasted for 26 dates in June and July 2012.

Starr had previously performed at the Mohegan Sun Arena on 31 July 2003, 16 July 2006, 22 June 2008, and 27 June 2010. He returned there on 20 September 2024.
