Paul McCartney performed at the Lanxess Arena in Cologne, Germany, on 1 December 2011.
It was the 13th show of the On The Run Tour, which lasted for 37 dates between July 2011 and November 2012.
The setlist was identical to his show the night before in Paris, France, except for the omission of ‘San Francisco Bay Blues’ and ‘Michelle’. Here’s a performance of ‘Let It Be’ from the show:
McCartney’s band was Paul ‘Wix’ Wickens (vocals, keyboards, guitar, percussion, harmonica), Brian Ray (vocals, guitar, bass), Rusty Anderson (vocals, guitar), and Abe Laboriel Jr (vocals, drums).
McCartney had first performed at the Kölnarena, as it was then known, during the Back In The World Tour on 27 and 28 April 2003. He returned on 16 and 17 December 2009 for the Good Evening Europe Tour.

Awesome backing vocals by the boys.
Still one of Macca’s smartest moves to sorround himself with a young band.
Don’t forget Wix and Abe. The sounds Wix produces is incredible and Abe on the drums is fabulous (and he can dance too).
I was there… what a great evening that was !!!
