On Friday 1 October 2010, John Lennon’s first group, The Quarrymen, performed a version of The Beatles’ song ‘In My Life’ in tribute to him at the Hollywood Bowl in California.

The group also visited Lennon’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, where they performed the Lonnie Donegan song Lost John, which Lennon himself recorded with Ringo Starr and Klaus Voormann in 1970.
