It was the 16th show of the 11th All-Starr Band’s tour of North America, which lasted for 31 dates between June and August 2010.

Starr previously performed at the Hard Rock Live on 3 July 2008. He returned there on 30 June 2012 and 17 September 2022. Paul McCartney also performed at the venue on 25 May 2022.
