‘All You Need Is Love’ is to be released as downloadable content for The Beatles: Rock Band on the PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii, Apple Corps Ltd, MTV Games and Harmonix have announced.
The song was previously available for download only on the Xbox 360, with all sales proceeds going to Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). The charity will similarly benefit from the Wii and PS3 download sales.
All You Need Is Love will be available for the Nintendo Wii from Tuesday 16 February and for the Sony PlayStation 3 from Thursday 4 March.

New York – Feb. 11, 2010 – Apple Corps, Ltd., MTV Games and Harmonix, the world’s leading developer of music-based games and a part of Viacom’s MTV Networks (NYSE: VIA, VIA.B), today announced that The Beatles’ track “All You Need Is Love” will be available for purchase as downloadable content in The Beatles™: Rock Band™ Music Store for Wii™ system on Feb. 16, 2010, and PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system on March 4, 2010.“All You Need Is Love” was released exclusively in The Beatles: Rock Band Music Store for Xbox 360™ video game and entertainment system from Microsoft simultaneously with the game’s launch in September 2009. As previously announced, Apple Corps Ltd, MTV Games, Harmonix and Microsoft donated proceeds from the sales of the downloadable track to Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), generating more than $200,000 for the charity organization.
