Y Not, Ringo Starr’s sixteenth solo studio album, was released worldwide on 12 January 2010.
The album featured a range of collaborators, including Paul McCartney, Joe Walsh, Don Was, Edgar Winter, Joss Stone, and Richard Marx.
Y Not charted at number 58 on the US Billboard 200, selling 7,965 copies in its first week. It did not chart in the UK.
In its first month on sale Y Not sold over 30,000 copies worldwide.
