The Beatles’ first feature film, 1964’s A Hard Day’s Night, is to be released on Blu-ray Disc in October, according to web retailer Amazon.
Although there has been no official announcement about the release, Amazon lists the US release as 6 October. The Blu-ray version is also listed on the Canadian site, though without a release date.
A Hard Day’s Night was directed by Richard Lester in 1964, and captured The Beatles at the height of Beatlemania. The black-and-white film and the soundtrack album of the same name are considered classics of the era.
