Paul McCartney performed at the Citi Field stadium in New York City, USA, on 18 July 2009.
It was the third show of the Summer Live ’09 Tour, which lasted for 10 dates in July and August 2009, and the second of three nights at Citi Field.
McCartney’s band was Paul ‘Wix’ Wickens (vocals, keyboards, guitar, percussion, harmonica), Brian Ray (vocals, guitar, bass), Rusty Anderson (vocals, guitar), and Abe Laboriel Jr (vocals, drums).
Citi Field was the successor to Shea Stadium, where The Beatles gave two triumphant concerts in 1965 and 1966.
As with the previous night’s show, the concert was filmed.
