Paul McCartney performed at the Brit Awards ceremony at the Earls Court Exhibition Centre in London, England, on 20 February 2008.
During the ceremony McCartney was presented with an Outstanding Contribution to Music award by Kylie Minogue.
McCartney’s band was Paul ‘Wix’ Wickens (vocals, keyboards, guitar, percussion, harmonica), Brian Ray (vocals, guitar, bass), Rusty Anderson (vocals, guitar), and Abe Laboriel Jr (vocals, drums).
McCartney had previously performed at Earls Court on 11, 14, and 15 September 1993, as part of the New World Tour, and on 18, 19, 21, and 22 April 2003 for the Back In The World Tour.
