Paul McCartney live: König-Pilsener-Arena, Oberhausen

Paul McCartney performed at the König-Pilsener-Arena in Oberhausen, Germany, on 8 May 2003.

It was the 22nd date of the Back In The World Tour, which lasted for 33 dates between March and June 2003.

This show was moved from the Schalke Arena in Gelsenkirchen due to low ticket sales. A number of fans queued the night before at the wrong venue, unaware of the change.

McCartney’s band was Paul ‘Wix’ Wickens (vocals, keyboards, guitar, percussion, harmonica), Brian Ray (vocals, guitar, bass), Rusty Anderson (vocals, guitar), and Abe Laboriel Jr (vocals, drums).
