Paul McCartney performed at the Kyocera Dome in, Osaka, Japan, on 17 November 2002.
It was the penultimate date of the Driving World Tour, which lasted for 58 dates across four countries between April and November 2002, and the first of two consecutive nights in Osaka.
The performances of ‘Calico Skies’ and ‘Let ’Em In’ from this show appear on the 2002 live album Back In The World.
McCartney’s band was Paul ‘Wix’ Wickens (vocals, keyboards, guitar, percussion, harmonica), Brian Ray (vocals, guitar, bass), Rusty Anderson (vocals, guitar), and Abe Laboriel Jr (vocals, drums).
McCartney returned to the Kyocera Dome during the Out There Tour on 11 and 12 November 2013 and 21 April 2015.
