The penultimate recording session for Paul McCartney’s Run Devil Run album took place on 4 May 1999.
Each of the sessions took place at Abbey Road Studios – the first five in March 1999, and a final two in May. On this day a version of Elvis Presley’s ‘All Shook Up’ was recorded.
McCartney was accompanied by guitarists David Gilmour and Mick Green, pianist Geraint Watkins, and drummer Dave Mattacks.
The other Run Devil Run sessions took place on 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 March, and 5 May 1999.
