Paul McCartney live: Wiener Stadthalle, Vienna

Paul McCartney performed at the Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna, Austria, on 6 September 1993.

It was the 39th night of the New World Tour, which lasted for 77 dates across 19 countries between February and December 1993, and the second of two consecutive nights in Vienna.

McCartney’s band was Linda McCartney on vocals, keyboards, and percussion; Hamish Stuart on guitar, bass guitar, and vocals; Robbie McIntosh on guitar and vocals; Paul ‘Wix’ Wickens on keyboards and vocals; and Blair Cunningham on drums and percussion.

Wings had performed at the Wiener Stadthalle on 19 September 1976. McCartney returned there during the Back In The World Tour on 14 May 2003, and for the Freshen Up Tour on 5 and 6 December 2018.
