Paul McCartney live: Western Springs Stadium, Auckland

Paul McCartney performed at the Western Springs Stadium in Auckland, New Zealand, on 27 March 1993.

It was the 14th night of the New World Tour, which lasted for 77 dates across 19 countries between February and December 1993.

McCartney’s band was Linda McCartney on vocals, keyboards, and percussion; Hamish Stuart on guitar, bass guitar, and vocals; Robbie McIntosh on guitar and vocals; Paul ‘Wix’ Wickens on keyboards and vocals; and Blair Cunningham on drums and percussion.

During the encore, ‘Happy Birthday To You’ was sung to Wix, and the Continental Airlines Pipe Band came on stage to accompany the band during ‘Mull Of Kintyre’.
