The fourth day of overdubs for John Lennon’s fourth solo album Mind Games took place on 13 August 1973.
The album sessions took place at New York’s Record Plant studio. This was the first of two days in which Peter E ‘Sneaky Pete’ Kleinow added pedal steel guitar.
The overdubs recorded on each individual day are not known, but Kleinow performed on ‘Tight A$’, ‘Aisumasen (I’m Sorry)’, ‘One Day (At A Time)’, ‘Bring On The Lucie (Freeda Peeple)’, ‘Intuition’, ‘Out The Blue’, and ‘You Are Here’.
Also recorded on this day was a tape reel titled ‘Weird Slide Guitar From Sneaky Pete’.
