Wings live: Odeon, Edinburgh

Wings performed at the Odeon in Edinburgh, Scotland, on 23 May 1973.

It was the 10th night of the 18-date Wings 1973 UK Tour, which opened on 11 May in Bristol.

There were two shows on this date, in the afternoon and evening. The support act was Brinsley Schwarz.

Wings were Paul McCartney on vocals, guitar, and bass guitar; Linda McCartney on vocals and keyboards; Denny Laine on vocals, guitar, and bass guitar; Henry McCullough on guitar and vocals; and Denny Seiwell on drums.

Brinsley Schwarz were good, the ‘acrobats’’ were, well, unexpected – I began to wonder if I’d gone to the right place, but when Wings came on all was forgiven. They were terrific, congratulations and thanks to the group for a fantastic performance.
