Paul McCartney’s debut single, ‘Another Day’, was released in the United Kingdom on 19 February 1971.
‘Another Day’ was the first song to be recorded during the Ram album sessions.
The single peaked at number two in the UK charts, and at number five in America.
‘Another Day’ was the lead track of an EP released only in Mexico, which also included ‘Oh Woman, Oh Why’, ‘Junk’ and ‘Valentine Day’.
Although initially released as a standalone single, ‘Another Day’ was later included on reissues of Ram.
