The Beatles were at Twickenham Film Studios for work on Help! on this day.
Among the day’s scenes was the one where a follower of Kali-li attempted to remove the ring from Ringo Starr’s hand as he posted a letter. The interior shot was filmed on this day; the location work took place at South Western Road in Twickenham on 9 May 1965.
