Early in the morning John Lennon filmed part of a sequence for Dudley Moore’s forthcoming TV show Not Only… But Also.
Filming took place on Wimbledon Common, and was complete by mid-morning. Lennon appeared with Moore and co-star Norman Rossington, to accompany a reading of Deaf Ted, Danoota, (and me) from In His Own Write.
A second appearance was made at BBC Television Centre on 29 November 1964.
The show was broadcast on Saturday 9 January 1965 at 9.20pm on BBC Two.
