To take advantage of The Beatles’ second day off from their 18-night concert residency at the Olympia Theatre, Paris (their first rest day was 21 January), John Lennon and George Harrison flew back to London for an overnight break.
In the evening the two Beatles attended a party held by influential DJ Tony Hall, who lived on Green Street, London. At the party they met Phil Spector and The Ronettes. Harrison and Starr also met Spector on at least one subsequent occasion at Hall’s home.

Joe, A small point of accuracy, you’ve referred to this as their second consecutive day off, but stated in the previous post that they performed two shows the day before, January 27th.
Thanks! It wasn’t their second consecutive day off, just their second day off in the residency (the first was 21 Jan). I’ve amended the text.
