Despite having just completed a six-night run at the Winter Gardens in Margate, The Beatles drove up to Blackpool for a second show at the ABC Theatre.
They had previous performed at the venue one week earlier on 7 July 1963. Once again the show’s compère was Carry On actor Jack Douglas.
