This was The Beatles’ second and final performance at the Music Hall in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. As with their 14 December 1962 show, it was promoted by Lewis Buckley.

The Beatles performed at The Music Hall Shrewsbury months before Love Me Do came out and their appearance in December 1962. They were the ‘first on’ support act and took requests from the audience? My boyfriend ,now husband, asked for Roll over Beethoven. Paul remarked to John how surprised he was!
