This was The Beatles’ fifth lunchtime show at Liverpool’s soon-to-be-famous Cavern Club.
Although the precise number of The Beatles’ Cavern performances is not known, they played at least 155 lunchtime and 125 evening shows between 9 February 1961 and 3 August 1963.
This particular week saw five consecutive lunchtime sessions held at the club. The Beatles performed on Monday, Wednesday and Friday; The Big Three played on Tuesday; and Derry And The Seniors made an appearance on Thursday.
